another day, another mess to clean.

slateport city officials have tasked volunteers to clean-up mess left by grimer and muk, of which poison-types such as aversa the naganadel can help with without the risks normally present in clean-ups like this.

the ultra beast now roams the streets of slateport's upper district, but as a janitor this time instead of an invader like before.

its sting starts to suck up crystalized poison left by the other poison-types with the tip of its sting. like a syringe, it fills up its barrel of an abdomen with the toxic waste, being largely unaffected thanks to its typing.

otherwise, it's just chilling. it's been used to being a pawn during the megalopolan war that it doesn't mind mindless grunt work such as this.

aversa - beast boost - sludge wave / toxic spikes / dragon pulse / air slash / fell stinger / heat wave

Vipera hissed with faint displeasure as the Seviper slithered unhappily through the streets of Slateport. Of course it would be the likes of Muk and Grimer that would drip sludge and filth in their wake, like the mindless, insufferable imbeciles they were.

Pollution was ugly and artless, but there was a finesse to be had in the art of poison, and those idiots were utterly lacking in it.

Crude. Pathetic. Insulting to the Poison-type they shared, truth be told.

This was a fault Vipera sought to remedy with a LICK of her forked tongue and a sweep of her POISON TAIL.

No one could say she didn't meet the admittedly menial task with grace and aplomb, at least.

Haste and effort make quick work of the poison remnants in it's area of Slateport's upper district. Both crystallized and liquid residue are able to be handled by the Nidoking as it brings the contained substances back to the truck to be disposed of properly. Or maybe it could actually be used for something?

The Nidoking had no idea what would come of them, but so long as they weren't a hazard to the public, then this could all be considered a job well done. He just wished it knew where to find these alolan grimer and muk, to ensure this wouldn't happen again.

It was a group effort. From the lens of a nearby news crew, many Pokémon could be seen helping in the cleanup of a Slateport City street. This was no ordinary litter that needed to be disposed of, however; unfortunately, poisonous muck was everywhere. It would take a substantial amount of time to appropriately cleanse and decontaminate the area.

Meanwhile, pedestrians and motorists alike fumed on the sidelines, aggravated that their morning commute was so disrupted.

Doing her best to speed up this process, Barnaby's unusually-colored SPINARAK began weaving incredibly strong, poison-resistant TOXIC THREADS to contain the spills caused by the rampant GRIMER and MUK. The little spider scurried around the scene, encasing the curiously crystallized poison so that it was easier to transport away. For her size, the SPINARAK was remarkably efficient.

She may be small, but she was mighty.

Few are the Pokemon that can garner as much chaos and distress among people as Nihilego can. This particular Ultra Beast is practically the poster child of the Ultra Beast War, so the mere sight of it causes strife, if not conflict.

Leave it to Genesis to find a way to make her pokemon make money for her while she lazily sits in front of the picture box.

Either way, the job needed to be done. So here she was, roaming around slateport officials licking up all the poison. Sinister gaze shifted from one pile of vile to the next, mouth opened wide and large tongue fell out to lick up the next muk.

In hind sight, at least this stuff didn’t taste too bad. Being a partial poison type her, it didn’t bother her that much at all. The shiny gengar actually liked the stuff with the sparkling stuff in it. It had a nice crunch to it. She could eat that stuff all day.

Jam cackles as they swoop in above the heads of their fellow workers, zipping around and bothering every Pokemon in the vicinity. Despite Luka sending them on this job to instill a sense of responsibility and work ethic, the whole thing just seems like a game to them. The mischievous Poipole would rather play with the poison mess than clean it up, throwing handfuls at their fellow workers and splashing through the mess like a child in a mud puddle.[break][break]

Eventually they grab a bit of the crystallized poison and, just for the heck of it, stick it in their mouth.[break][break]

And apparently it's...good? Or at least they think so, because pretty soon Jam is just shoveling handfuls into their mouth.[break][break]

That counts, right? After all, the job had never specified how the poison should be cleared up...
